DIRECT SHUTTLE
NOTE:  SHUTTLE SERVICE SCHEDULE IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE.  PLEASE REFER BACK TO THIS PAGE FOR UPDATES.

Shuttle service for out-of-towners arriving in Boston will be provided for a cost of $20.00, one way, from Logan Airport, from the bus terminal (South Station) or from the train station (North Station or South Station).  Shuttles will run to Lasell on Weds., May 24, Thurs., May 25, and Fri., May 26.  Shuttles will run from Lasell to Logan Airport, South Station and North Station on Monday May 29, and, if there is sufficient demand, on Tuesday, May 30.   

Current plans include the following airport pickup times.  Please check back to this page as times are subject to change when we learn specific travel schedules. (Pickups at the train and bus station follow airport pickups.)  

If you are unsure about whether to sign up for shuttle service because the schedule does not show a time that matches your arrival or departure time, please feel free to register for the shuttle anyway as we will attempt to adjust  the schedule to accommodate all who register.  If, due to a lack of resources, we are unable to pick you up, you will be notified in advance of your arrival and you will be refunded.

Airport, train station and bus station to Lasell
- Wednesday May 24, 2017: 10:00 am, 1:00 pm, 4:00 and 7:00 pm
- Thursday, May 25, 2017: 10:00 am, 1:00 pm, 4:00 and 7:00 pm 
- Friday, May 26, 2017: 8:00 am, 10:00 am, 12:00 pm, 2:00 pm, 4:00 pm, 6:00 pm, 8:00 pm 

Departing from Lasell 
- Monday, May 29, 2017: departures to airport, train and bus stations at 8:00 am, 10:00 am, 12:00 pm, 2:00 pm, 4:00 pm, 6:00 pm, subject to change as we learn riders' travel schedules.  (Plan to depart Lasell two hours before your departure from Boston.)
- Tuesday, 8:00 am, 10:00 am, 12:00 pm subject to adjustment.

GETTING THERE BY OTHER MEANS
 
BY CAR:
  • Please navigate to the campus address, 1844 Commonwealth Ave., Newton, Massachusetts.  
     
  • PARKING: 
Day Commuters - Commuters by day can park in the lots surrounding Winslow Academic Center, 80 Maple St., Newton, MA.  No day passes will be required.  

Overnight residents with cars - Drivers staying nights on campus may park in the lot under the Arnow Campus Center (P4 on the campus map; see link below.) located at 23 Seminary Ave., Newton, MA, or on the street.  To park under the Arnow Campus Center, please provide car license number and make and model to the registrar at the check in desk, and an overnight pass will be provided which should be placed on your windshield while the car is parked.  

FROM THE AIRPORT BY COMMUTER RAIL OR BY SUBWAY:
Catch the Silver line bus ($2.00, comes every 7-13 minutes; see www.mbta.com/schedules_and_maps/bus/routes/?route=SL1) outside baggage claim to South Station.  Proceed by subway (the "T")  or by commuter rail as described below.  Then:
  • BY COMMUTER RAIL TRAIN

At South Station, enter the train station at street level and obtain a ticket for the Framingham/Worcester commuter train to the Auburndale stop.  From the Auburndale stop, you can walk five to seven minutes to campus or call a cab.  Limited free transportation from the Auburndale stop will be provided.  

  • BY SUBWAY

At South Station, catch the red line inbound ($2.75), to Park Street.  Transfer to the green line D (Riverside) train heading outbound towards Riverside.  Disembark at the last stop, Riverside, and walk seven to ten minutes to the campus of Lasell or call a cab. Limited free transportation from the Riverside stop will be provided.



FROM SOUTH STATION
Follow directions from South Station above. 

FROM NORTH STATION: By subway
Catch the green line train inbound to Park Street station. Transfer to the green line D (Riverside) train heading outbound towards Riverside.  Disembark at the last stop, Riverside, and walk seven to ten minutes to the campus of Lasell or call a cab.  Some shuttle service may be provided.

BY BUS

            Take the Silver line bus from the Airport to South Station.  Catch the 505 bus (takes 28 min,                     departs hourly) from Otis St. at South Station to Commonwealth Ave., opposite Cheswick.  Walk             five minutes to the campus. 

BY UBER, LYFT 

A ride by UBER or LYFT to Lasell from the airport costs around $45.00 for one person, plus $12.00 for each additional person, one way.

BY CAB

Cabs are readily available at Logan Airport as well as at the train and bus stations.  A cab ride from any of these locations is $45.00-$70.00 one way (plus gratuity) for one person.
