When you visit the AVP/USA.org web site, we capture the internet provider’s domain name and country that you came from (eg: “AOL.com”) and the paths taken as you move from page to page.Information we collect on AVP/USA.org may be used to enhance your use of this web site by optimising its design and content.If you are an AVP facilitator and subscribe to one of our mailing lists, your e-mail address is collected in order to maintain the mailing list.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

Use of storefront credit-card product/service ordering information:

When you order a product or service through our credit card orders pages, we collect necessary non-public information to process your order and charge your credit card.  These data include your name, address, e-mail address, and credit card number. 

What non-public information does AVP/USA disclose, and to whom? 

Information collected through credit card ordering is restricted to AVP/USA personnel directly involved in processing your order and to the credit card processing company that charges your credit card.  For e-mail lists, your e-mail address is available to all other AVP facilitators only.  Except as may be required by law, no information is disclosed to any other person or entity.

How does AVP/USA protect the confidentiality and security of my nonpublic personal information? 

We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal standards to guard your nonpublic personal information. We protect your account information by placing it on the secure portion of our website. Our servers have been enabled with Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to prevent unauthorized parties from viewing your nonpublic personal information that you give or access during a secure session. 

Use of Cookies

The AVPUSA.org website does not utilize permanent cookies (cookies stored on your hard disk).  Session-only cookies are utilized to aid navigation and passwords during your visit.  These disappear when you exit a browser session.

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
